Obituary of Rita M. Caven

On Wednesday the first day of February, a wonderful woman left this world. For 72 years Rita took on that world. She had no speech. She had no hearing. What she did have was Down Syndrome, a beautiful smile, a pure heart, and marvelous hugs. Rita loved 2 cookies, pop and coffee. She delighted in pizza, cake and pie. She enjoyed television, movies, theatre, but NO kissing. She traveled to the ocean, the mountains and the State Fair. We learned what true love is through Rita. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, 60 Kent St., St. Paul, MN 55102.
