Obituary of Ellene Helen Kritikos

Born December 21, 1936 in Detroit, MI. Raised her beautiful family in White Bear Lake. She died in East Bethel, MN on October 12, 2022 at the age of 85. Former elementary teacher, loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Preceded in death by her parents Alex and Despina George; brothers Demitri, and Nicholas; daughter Leesa; and niece Christine. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Mathew; daughters Sheryl (Yiannis) Vasiliadis, and Michelle (Scott) Berge; grandchildren Billy, Matt, Nikki, Alexis, Christos, Jessica, Joshua, and Michael; great-grandchildren Stella, Kaelyn, and Ophelia; son-in-law Bill Dentinger; and sister Aphrodite Sacorafas. Service 10AM Friday, October 21 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1111 Summit Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 4-8PM Thursday at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006 with the Trisagion Prayers at 7PM. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
