Obituary of Walter Edward Kotch

Walter Edward Kotch, 78, of Chaska, MN, passed away on September 21, 2021. Walter was born on May 11, 1943 in Binghamton, NY to Walter C. and Stella C. Kotch. Walter is survived by his sister, Barbara Brunetti of Boynton Beach, FL, his previous wife Jane Swanson of Hudson, WI, his two sons - Jon (Amy) Kotch of St. Paul, MN and Michael (Lauren) Kotch of Springfield, IL., and his grandchildren, Brodie, Sylvie and Alasdair. Walter was both a proud Ohio State Buckeye as well as an Army Veteran who served as a 1st LT in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had a passion for golfing and fishing, however, his greatest love of all was spending time with his three grandchildren. Walter is preceded in death by his adoring parents Walter and Stella. A private Celebration of Life will be held and Walter will receive full military honors at Fort Snelling where he will be laid to rest. Flowers may be sent to the Willwerscheid Funeral Home or in lieu of flowers, donations made in Walter's honor to the Vietnam Veterans Association.
